Novi trendovi u razvoju programabilnih logičkih kontrolera

Apstrakt
Programabilni logički kontroleri (PLC) као okosnica industrijske automatizacije prilagođavaju se svakom sledećem talasu tehnologije. Ovo važi i danas, skoro šest decenija nakon prvog programabilnog kontrolera Modicon 084 razvijenog za potrebe kompanije General Motors. Inovacije kao što su veštačka inteligencija, oblačna platforma i računarstvo na ivici, IIoT, mreže pete generacije, proširena i virtuelna stvarnost prodiru u sve moguće oblasti industrije, pri čemu PLC kontroleri nisu izuzetak. Opremljeni savremenimm funkcionalnim arsenalom, ovi kompaktni industrijski računarski sistemi postaju osnovni gradivni blok inteligentne automatizacije, digitalizacije i Industrije 4.0, omogućavajući dinamičku regulaciju i upravljanje industrijskim procesima na osnovu podataka preko povratne sprege u realnom vremenu. Globalno tržište PLC sistema se procenjuje na 12.2 milijarde američkih $ 2024 godine. Očekuje se da će premašiti 15 milijardi $ do 2029. PLC kontroleri, koji tradicionalno služe kao osnova procesne i diskretne industrijske automatizacije, danas su sve rasprostranjeniji usvajajući principe Industrije 4.0 u različitim sektorima. Uticaj na porast potrebe za njima je povećana primena industrijskih robota u automobilskoj, elektrotehničkoj i drugim industrijama. Sektor industrijske robotike je među vodećim korisnicima PLC sistema i postaje ključni pokretač daljeg razvoja tržišta programabilnih kontrolera, a prognoze su da će se ovaj trend nastaviti s razvojem sve rasprostranjenije robotizacije u fabrikama širom sveta. Prema podacima IFR (International Federation of Robotics) iz 2024. g. već je u funkciji skoro 4.3 miliona robota.
